Although we strive to maximize your capacities and enhance your chances of achieving excellence in your academic and professional path-development, we cannot guarantee results and outcomes unless otherwise clearly stated for a specific service. It should be noted that all final decisions regarding grades, applications, and/or interviews are made by external, non-affiliate parties. It is our primary objective to provide you with all the essential tools to give you a competitive edge, however, we cannot in any shape or form complete your applications on your behalf, write your Personal Statement/CV/Supplemental Essays, guarantee test scores, admission decisions, etc. It is the responsibility of the applicant to follow the specific instructions of their school of their choice in order to ensure the safe and timely arrival of their applications. Additionally, Physician Assistant Mentor Online operates in an ethical manner and all data presented is obtained through publicly available sources. Importantly, note that Physician Assistant Mentor Online is not affiliated with, nor endorse, any of the organizations mentioned including but not limited to universities, colleges, official test administrators or any external websites, unless otherwise explicitly indicated.
Services for the packages are valid for one application cycle with the exception of the Ultimate Package Plan, which can be used for multiple years. All services are offered via phone, email and webcam.
Physician Assistant Mentor Online (referred to as “PAMO” or “us” or “we”), provides the pamentoronline.com website as well as certain services (collectively referred to as “Services”), subject to your compliance with the following Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”), as well as any other written agreement(s) between us and you.
By purchasing Physician Assistant Mentor Online services, I agree to the terms of this Agreement:
Availability of our Mentors
PAMO shall have discretion in selecting the dates and times it performs such consulting and editing services. We will do our best to accommodate the client’s needs regarding date and time, but ultimately all scheduling is dependent upon the availability of the Mentor. Client acknowledges our Mentors are all full-time practicing Physician Assistants and occasionally emergencies at work come up and the Mentor may be delayed or have to reschedule. If PAMO client requires more services at any time, PAMO is not obligated to undertake such work. Meeting in person for any service other than PA Shadowing is at the discretion of the Mentor assigned but in no way is this guaranteed. Strictly on a case-by-case situation when requested by the client.
With regard to cancellations and/or rescheduling, you must provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice. With respect to Mock Interview sessions, if you cancel/reschedule less than 8 hours before your appointed time slot or you will be considered a “no-show” and this could result in loss of that specific service without any obligation by PAMO to reschedule. In the case of missed appointments this can result in loss of that specific service without any obligation by PAMO to reschedule. This will also depend upon the plan type you had scheduled with us.
I acknowledge that when working on essays, Physician Assistant Mentor Online and it’s Mentors will never write my essay for me. PAMO will provide guidance in the writing process and offer detailed revisions, however no portion of the personal statement will be written by PAMO. I certify that all written passages, such as the personal statement, supplemental essays required from applicants, and descriptions of work/activities, are my own and have not been written, in part or in whole, by a third party.
During the Personal Statement Workshop, I agree not to use that conversation in whole or in part to construct my statement. Any such violation will be considered plagiarism and my editing services can be terminated by PAMO at anytime without a refund.
If you are receiving advice outside of Physician Assistant Mentor Online and it’s Mentors on your personal statement, we are not responsible for that content and we will not edit any product produced from an outside source. Further, if you decide to use input from an outside source, this will negate the “Guarantee” offered in the Ultimate Plan and we are no longer obligated to assist on an additional application cycle if you are not successful in gaining an interview.
Mock Interview Sessions
When part of a “Package Plan”, you must receive an invitation for an interview from a PA Program before we begin Mock Interview sessions. We do not conduct practice Mock Interviews prior to receiving an invitation and Mock Interview sessions are not transferrable to another application cycle unless they are part of the Ultimate Plan.
Payment is due upon signing up for services. Fees are subject to change at any time. Services paid for are valid for the application cycle for which they were purchased with the exception of the Ultimate Package Plan in which limits will be set by PAMO and the client. No refunds are given for unused services.
- Refunds cannot be issued for services already rendered in any circumstance.
- Refund amount is at the sole discretion of PAMO. No partial refund after six months from the date of signing up for the service.
- If you signed up with a GPA (Overall or Science) of less than 3.0, there are no refunds for your failure to reach a 3.0 or because we were not able to get you into a PA Program.
- If you change your mind about applying to become a Physician Assistant, partial refunds are at the discretion of PAMO but generally there are no refunds if you change your mind about pursuing a career as a Physician Assistant once you have begun the service.
All communications between PAMO and client are strictly confidential. At no time will your name or work be released beyond our advisors. At PAMO we take every step to secure your privacy and confidentiality. Any and all information gathered from you throughout our consultation sessions will be held in confidence, not shared with a third party (i.e. individual, group, corporation, etc.), or used as data in a study, without your written and signed consent. Although your privacy is our highest priority, PAMO cannot guarantee the security of all electronic communications via the internet, as online communication is not always one hundred percent secure and, in the unlikely event of lost or stolen information over the internet, PAMO will not be held responsible. All advice given to client (to include all written, verbal and video communication) is for his or her exclusive use only and shall not be shared with anyone else or published online under any circumstances.
I acknowledge there is no guarantee that the services provided by PAMO will improve my chances for admission to medical school. However, every effort is made to put forth the best application possible with the help of PAMO’s Mentors.
Termination of Services
Either party may terminate this relationship at any time for any reason by giving written notice to the other party. Upon termination, no refunds can be issued.
My Responsibilities (Student Responsibility)
The student is solely responsible for his/her own application in its entirety, including the submission of Personal Statement drafts for editing, Supplemental Essays and additional material required by a PA Program, submitting your CASPA application, meeting of deadlines, and communicating with PAMO and Physician Assistant programs. Failure to keep in contact with PAMO does not constitute grounds for any type of refund. We are not responsible for sending reminders to complete any part of the application. The student is required to submit a “verified” copy of CASPA after is has been submitted. Failure to provide this to PAMO can be considered a breach of the Terms of Service.
Recording of Sessions
I acknowledge that PAMO has the right to record sessions as part of its Services and that I may listen to any such recordings with the express permission of PAMO. I agree that I shall not distribute any such recordings of session or otherwise use same for any purpose, except as agreed to by PAMO. I further agree that I shall not record any sessions under any circumstances.
“Ultimate Package Plan” or “Guarantee of admission or we work with you again the next application cycle” provisions:
PAMO, through its Ultimate Package Plan, will work with you again on the next application cycle if you fail to be accepted to a physician assistant program during the current application cycle. However, to be eligible for the continued service in the Ultimate Plan, you must have followed all the advice issued by PAMO. For example, if we advise you in writing (Consultation Report) for you to change jobs where you are getting your Patient Care Experience hours and you do not follow this advice, the guarantee to work with you again in the event you are not accepted can be invalidated by PAMO.
Once you have been accepted by a PA Program, this fulfills the Guaranteed Admission part of the Ultimate Package. Additional Mock Interviews will be conducted on an “as available” basis for the PA Mentor. Students who have not received an acceptance take priority over students who have been accepted.
By purchasing PAMO’s services I agree to the following: I release PAMO, including its associated employees, consultants and contractors (all of whom shall be referred to as “PAMO”) and discharge PAMO all claims, demands, or actions by me, on the basis of the discussions and interpretations of PAMO. Consideration for this release and disclaimer of liability on behalf of PAMO, shall be the services rendered by PAMO.
Each service requires full pre-payment. PAMO reserves the right to terminate a relationship with a client for any reason and at the sole discretion of PAMO. If a refund is issued, this amount will be determined at the sole discretion of PAMO at the time of termination. Services are only valid during the application cycle in which they were purchased unless modified/agreed upon by PAMO in writing. Package Plans are only valid for the application cycle in which they were purchased. However, if purchased after January 1, the Basic and Premium Plan can be used in the next cycle that starts up in April. There is no expiration for the Ultimate Plan.
Funds used to purchase a specific service cannot be used towards the purchase of a different service. No refunds will be issued for unused services. Advice provided by PAMO is the intellectual property of PAMO. Services are not transferable. All consultations must take place between the consultant and the client. Parents and significant others may participate in discussions only with the express permission of PAMO . Guidance will not be offered directly to parents, significant others, or client sponsors. By purchasing PAMO services, I agree with the aforementioned under any applicable law or regulation.
For purposes of this Section, “disparage” shall mean any negative statements, reviews, comments, or feedback, whether written or oral, about PAMO This will include all written or electronic communication, whether email, text message, use of Yelp, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc. Client agrees to take no action which is intended, or would reasonably be expected, to harm the Company or its or their reputation or which would reasonably be expected to lead to unwanted or unfavorable publicity for Physician Assistant Mentor Online or James H. Kimber, Physician Assistant, Inc.
All disputes, controversies, or claims arising out of or relating to this contract shall be submitted binding arbitration in accordance with the applicable rules of the American Arbitration Association then in effect.
In the event of litigation relating to the subject matter of this Agreement, the non-prevailing party shall reimburse the prevailing party for all reasonable attorney fees and costs resulting therefrom.
